11 Days to go....

My tickets and hotel are booked....and the nerves are starting to set in. Ironman is such a BIG race, the thought of the day is quite overwhelming! I do feel so lucky though to be able to compete in this amazing endurance event! I am getting excited for the energy that is about to come, like I'm about to see an old friend. I love the morning swims where everyone gathers to start there day... and the runs where when you pass someone you know that they are like you....hard working and commited to something you both love. I do enjoy the race and I am always on the search for that perfect day! I have been out to Arizona before to watch the race, envious of those who were running by...soon it will be my turn!
